The school is very well supplied with
audio-visual aids, information and
communications technology and equipment of every kind.
We have specialist facilities in music and drama, three networked PC
computer studios, a video-editing suite, a fine indoor
swimming pool, gymnasium and a magnificent assembly hall with balcony.
We have added a
floodlit multi-sports area, two fitness rooms and a purpose-built
climbing wall to our sports facilities. We have our own 17-seater
minibus which enables us to take an active part in County
sporting events, visits to theatres, concerts and places of
historic interest. A range
of
extra-curricular activities is provided in the lunch hour and after
school.
There are also
foreign visits including an annual ski-trip, visits to Boulogne and
Paris, several Humanities field trips and Art and Technology visits to
London.
The school is involved in an annual twinning exchange
between Wells and La Ferte
St. Aubin, a town in the
Loire valley in Central France.
